The project is a refurbishment for an old existing theatre. Being a public building in the heart of the town, the structure demanded a face-lift and transformation into a new urban magnet. The Façade treatment is based on generation of tessellations through modular geometry which creates a rhythmic note in the realm of a dense chaotic fabric.
Referring to the impact of “form and lighting” on public spaces, the façade sparkles in white satin finish during the day and is lit by LED lights in the night which is programmed to create a multitude of effects. The interiors & exteriors are designed as a seemingly homogenous surfaces which flows from the façade into the interior spaces.
